.I shoot a mixture of candid/ reportage style and editorial/ posed photos.
I believe that it is important to take photos reminiscent of the posed photos that have been taken for generations.
While these traditional photos have their place, and family members will love having prints of posed photos, they certainly will only take up a small amount of your wedding day. I also make sure to capture your day as it happens. ~ this is know as reportage and couples often comment that their gallery contained photos of moments they didn’t even know happened!
These reportage shots are the types of photos that show movement and emotions and will bring back the sights, and feelings from your big day.
My photography style is also timeless and true-to-color. Your memories will be captured through bright, colorful, clean, and cheerful imagery
I have a degree in Biomedical Science.

"From start to finish Melissa made everyone feel so comfortable and at ease. She is the most down to earth person and made our day absolutely wonderful and all the photos go by so smoothly..... I haven't been to well recently and she took this into consideration throughout the whole day, She even understood how much it meant to have some photos with my dog involved and this meant ALOT to us... She made sure we had every photo we needed and what can I say about our photos other than they speak for themselves and are absolutely stunning. I would definitely recommend Melissa to anyone thinking of using her. We honestly couldn't have asked for a better and more organised photographer. Thank you so much for everything."
