How do we get in touch?
Yes! Yes! Yes! I absolutely love your decisiveness! Hit the link here....Hello!
Can we meet you before we book?
100% !! I honestly prefer to meet up with you before you book. It is so important to pick the right photographer for you. You have to spend your whole wedding day with the photographer; so as well as taking awesome photographs you also need to be comfortable with them. As you are here and asking this type of question ~ I know you and I are going to get along just fine!
How much Does the wedding photography cost?
Weddings within Northern Ireland for 2020 start at £660, for full day coverage from bridal preparations in the morning, through your ceremony and up to you sit down for your meal! Of course, this is just a starting guide and if you would like I can tailor a bespoke package just for you! Check out the full pricelist here.
we have a photography budget, are you able to help us with this?
Of course! I honestly believe that your wedding photography shouldn't put you in debt, but I totally understand your desire to have a great wedding photographer. I try my best to work with your budget but I also have to take into account my business and my skills and editing time. For last minute half day photography check out here ~ scroll to the bottom.
Do you shoot destination weddings?
Do you even have to ask lol! Absolutely! The cost of the wedding photography remains the same, however there will be extra costs for travel etc.
Would you recommend an engagement shoot?
Yes! I definitely would! This is a great opportunity for you to get to know me, and for me to get to know your best angles, and what makes you both laugh! It makes such a difference to your wedding day photography. It makes everything so much easier and relaxed your your big day. And its fun as well!!
how much is your booking fee?
£ 250 secures your date for you. (Yay!) This is then deducted off your overall package total. ( double yay!) ( Yay! Yay!)
Can I pay my wedding off in installments?
The best solution is to set up your own bank or savings account and then you can save as you go along. :)
Are you insured?
Yes! I have public liability, professional indemnity and my equipment is insured too.
Describe your style of photography?
One word eclectic! I am totally swayed by what you want from your wedding day photography. If you want totally unposed photography..ninja style... I can stay to reportage photography the whole way through - just ask! On the whole, I don't believe that weddings can be shot using one type of photography. I try to capture how your day feels like as well as what it looks like. In the morning, there is the hustle and excitement of the wedding morning ~ hairdressers and mua's .... so its best in this morning, not to pose and just follow all the activity totally reportage _ as it happens. There may be the opportunity to have a few bridal portraits taken, if the morning has gone according to plan and everyone is ready to "rock and roll" before time. The ceremony, is totally documentary; I stand back and photograph your actual wedding ceremony, all the laughter and all the happy tears. The first posed photos of the day will be the signing of the register. Family photographs are totally in your hands. Some couples definitely don't want them, but I honestly believe, they are an integral part of the wedding day. These are the family memories for years to come - maybe the only chance to get a proper family photo that the family has had for years! The bridal part photos are a time of fun...just part of the day spent with your closest friends. The romantic session is just the couple. I have my own style for this section - "The Posed, Unposed". Sometimes when you have totally documentary photographs, the bride's dress can be not fluffed out, or perhaps you don't feel comfortable just being left to your own devices - then this is for you. I fluff the dress and get you in nice and cosy together, then, I will give a wee direction, that will bring a wee smile or get you to do something that shows your love for each other. PERFECT! Dress and expression, perfect and lots of fun as well. The speechs are totally back to documentary, and if you feel like it I can put up some speedlights, and we can then do "editorial" style photos. If not, I can go documentary, and you can enjoy some time with your friends and family. Lastly, we have the first dance ~ again totally documentary. So my style includes, reportage, documentary, posed, with lights, without lights, with direction, without direction, lying on the ground, sitting down, dancing on the dance floor along with you....you get the idea :)
Do you take formal photographs/
That's part of the wedding right? The family photos that you only get when everyone comes together (except you never normally do), those photos? Yes they are a definite, unless you wish for total reportage.
Do you have a second shooter?
Yes!...and No... I do weddings with both. Its totally up to you. A second photographer can be an extra expense, but at some weddings the second is worth their weight in gold. In particular, if you are getting married in the winter (as it gets darker earlier and therefore we have less time in which to photograph), if you are in a same sex partnership with two females, if you would like coverage of the groom as well as yourself, if you have children (the second will definitely capture all their smiles), if you would like more candid moments. If any of these are you, then I would definitely recommend a second photographer. But...if you are having a smaller wedding, if you don't put too much emphasis on the different angles of your ceremony, if you like to keep it simple, or if you are on a budget then just me on my own is simply suffice.
Why should we book you?
I am dedicated to you! By the time you are married on your wedding day, I will be your best friend or even like part of the family! I will try so hard to get you the best possible photographs ~ you would do that for family right? I will do that for you. I am here to help you through the day, I am a stress reliever, a font of knowledge and calmer of nerves. Also, I am reliable organised, generally a nice person and I take really good photos!
Do you do videography too?
Nope! I am dedicated to photography. My passion is providing you with the best possible images from your big day, I don't want to have to wear "different hats" and do different jobs. I want to put all my thought and artisticness (is that even a word lol!) into your wedding photos. There are countless wonderful artistic videographers, and I would be happy to put you in touch with one that is as passionate about their craft as I am about mine.
WE didn't choose an album package, but now we have seen our lovely photos and we would love a wedding album....is there any chance of ordering one?
Yes of course you can! Obviously the original album packages are priced highly competitively and they are far better value for your money; but if you want to but your album as an add on after your wedding- better late than never - honestly! - (it will be a bit more expensive than if you had purchased with the original package deals) but absolutely no problem at all!
